Hugues Hervé

Hugues Hervé is a French photographer and sound artist. He was born in 1965, in Paris. A musician by training, then a set builder for the cinema, passionate about sound and image, he has been collaborating with Antoine Schneck since 2009.

Since 2016, he has dedicated his personal work to musical research using a modular synthesizer. This creation of sound material takes all its meaning combined with the photographic work of Antoine Schneck.

DETAILS

Hugues received the first prize at the Dante Agostini drum school. He studied percussion also at the French music conservatory, and completed his training at Parsons School of Design in New York. Hugues Hervé has notably collaborated with the Yves Saint Laurent foundation, Hermès. He has also exhibited at the Grand Palais during the Art Paris contemporary art fair, at the Pavillon des Arts et du Design at the Tuileries and at the Orangerie du Palais du Luxembourg, etc.
