13bis recomposes, decontextualizes, and transforms old pictorial elements to deliver them, like a surrealist reminiscence through fragmentary and heterogeneous compositions.

Sometimes not without a sense of humor, the melting of 13bis's compositions is essentially due to the soft and translucent whiteness that covers them, as if the virginal nudity and fragility of the grain, the skin, and the paper could be better discovered.

Through their collages, 13bis touches the timeless, where emerges the transitory, the erasure, the trace, the absence. The artist is inspired by our pictorial heritage to restore not the works, but the trace, the vestige, printed on the neglected walls of our streets.
