Cecilie Waagner Falkenstrøm is an award-winning artist who employs artificial intelligence
(machine learning) to create interactive artworks. Cecilie’s artworks have been exhibited
internationally at venues including the Victoria and Albert Museum and Ars Electronica.
She created the first AI and blockchain artwork in space aboard NASA’s part of the
international Space Station in 2021. Her art has been awarded international awards such
as “The Lumen Prize” in 2017 and 2021,
“Prix Ars Electronica, Honorary Mention” in 2023
and the British Art and Humanities Research Counsel’s “TECHNE Award”.
